Appraisals

Jenior Appraisals and Liquidations, LLC specializes in the appraisal of antiques, fine art, automobiles, and other personal property for private clients, attorneys, banks, trust and estate officers and institutions. Eric Jenior is one of only a handful of certified appraisers living and working in Stark County. Appraisals are provided for all purposes including IRS-accepted tax donation appraisals, estate tax and probate court, insurance, fair market, damage/loss, divorce and liquidation. All appraisals are fully researched, comprehensive and accurate and conform to the USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice).

Jenior’s USPAP compliancy is an important credential, and one that the Internal Revenue Service uses to measure appraisals as acceptable for tax purposes. Make sure any appraiser you hire also has the training and certification from the International Society of Appraisers. Appraisals provide comprehensive information about your valuable artwork or collections and the reports are expertly researched, photographed and contain full descriptions of the items included. We will arrange preliminary, complimentary walk-through to determine the scope of the appraisal at no charge. From there, fees are based on an hourly rate. We’ll also provide a written estimate after our walkthrough for appraisal services.

Eric Jenior, a certified appraiser, is trained and certified by The International Society of Appraisers. The ISA is the largest personal property appraisal association in North America and only represents the most highly-trained and rigorously-tested independent appraisers in the United States and Canada. This distinction gives Jenior’s appraisals the authority needed to determine official values for the IRS, which is an important distinction when liquidating estates, dividing assets, or whenever an official value of goods and property is necessary.
